Short and simple, terpenes are an organic compound that grow on the hemp plant.

They are tiny compounds that give the plant it's scent and flavor.

For example, your Christmas tree smells like pine because of the terpenes in the tree! The lovely aroma you get walking through a lavender field is because of the terpenes in the lavender flowers!

Terpenes can be extracted from the hemp plant individually, then added back into the CBD formula to give a desired effect, smell, and flavor. These natural terpenes mixed with selected essential oils can enhance the therapeutic effects.

It's properties are anti inflammatory. It's common uses are for bone stimulation and memory. Eucalyptol is minty. it's properties are anti bacterial and anti fungal, It's Common uses are for Alzheimer's and pain relief. Geraniol is peachy and rosey. It's properties are anti cancer, anti oxidant and a neuroprotectant. Common uses are for cancer and pain relief. Humulene is earthy.It's properties are anti bacterial, anti inflammatory and it has anti tumor effects. It's common uses are cancer, infections, and appetite suppression. Limonene is a bitter citrus small slash taste. It's properties are anti anxiety, anti cancer, and digestive aid. Common uses are gallstones, liver detoxification, weight loss, and sleep aid. Linalool is floral. It's properties are anti anxiety, anti epileptic, anto psychotic, and pain killing. Common uses are depression, convulsions, insomnia, and pain relief. Myrcene has a citrus slash clove scent. It's properties are relaxing and sedating. Common uses are inflammation, insomnia, spasms and pain. Pinene is piney. It's properties are anti-depressant, anti inflammatory, and anti microbial. Common uses are asthma, bronchitis, cancer, depression, memory, and mental alertness. Phytol is balsamic and floral. It's properties are anti insomnia and immunosupressant. Common uses are reduce itching, sleep aid and wound healing. Terpinolene is smokey and woody. It's properties are anti bacterial, anti fungal, anti insomnia, and antiseptic. Common uses are cancer, heart disease, and sleep aid. Trans Nerolidol has a citrus rose scent. It's properties are anti cancer, anti microbial, anti oxidant, anti parasitic. Common uses are relaxation and sleep aid. Valencene is sweet citrus. It's properties are anti inflammation, anti melanogenesis, anti allergic. Common uses are memory and skin lesions.


About our Proprietary Blend

      With added select essential oils

Our proprietary terpene blend is hand selected by Dr. Dave. Our combination has a therapeutic dose of select terpenes to effectively relieve the most common problems; pain, anxiety, and inflammation. It even includes antioxidant properties.

 

There are three terpenes in our Proprietary Blend:

Myrcene - sedating effect working in entourage with other cannabinoids. Improves cannabinoid access to the nervous system. Anti-inflammatory, as well as an analgesic.

 

Linalool - linalool, like myrcene, has sedative properties. Could have the ability to help with seizures. Relaxing properties therapeutic in treatments of depression and anxiety, as well as stress.

 

Limonene - Helpful with anxiety and depression. Reduced lung inflammation. Antioxidant.
